The class will be divided into teams of 3 students each. The lecturer will facilitate and manage this.
a) Identify and discuss the problems as an industrial engineering team.
b) Using the identified problems to develop a relevant team structure that will ensure a high level of productivity among the workers. Ensure there are flow charts and diagrams to show improvements were necessary.
c) Use possible IE calculations to show strategies to improve productivity
d) As a member of the team of industrial engineers, discuss the type of teams you would suggest as effective in addressing this issues. What would be each group member's personal role in such a team? Ensure you substantiate your choice of the type of team(s) with adequate reasons
