The First World Bank Savings and Loan task team is working with a network engineer to begin developing a plan for a Linux and open source-based infrastructure that will support online banking services. The team is familiar with physical server hardware but wants to understand the general types of virtualization solutions that are available.
Tasks
Research server virtualization technology.
Write a summary report that briefly describes server virtualization, the types of servers (file, Web, database, etc.) that virtualization can support, and at least two open source virtualization software platforms that support Linux.
