After studying the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), we will now be investigating the Canadian equivalent.
You will be compiling a paper outlining this Canadian equivalent or system - and provide the following:
1. Explain the Canadian Agricultural Policy, specifically outlining Government Intervention/Support
2. Provide a thorough and substantiated opinion on whether this is a good policy, or what you feel would be a better application/use of resources - and why. (keep in mind: seasonality of agriculture in Canada, ownership of CDN farms - individuals/families vs. big business/monopolies, who benefits).
