Case study!
City Central Hospital needs your service to establish a new IT network.
Main parameters of the given case;
The Hospital has 4 stories Main building. There are four offices. There are four local area networks in the building. On each floor/office.
there will be 35 desktop computers.
10 portable/laptop computers and need wireless connection (WiFi).
One network printer for all employees in each section.
All office computers must have access to a network
Additionally, Hospital has 3 off-site clinics.
There in each clinic 20 office computers (PC) for in each site.
One network printer for all employees in each section.
All office computers must have access to the network.
There are three local area networks outside of the hospital building.
TASK:
You should be developing and drawing three network diagrams. Your name must be written in each network diagram.
Question 1:
A develop and draw a network diagram of LOCAL AREA NETWORK for one Office Section only. You will be presenting only one of the LANs in the hospital building
Question 2:
A draw the block diagram for INTRANET to connect all four LANs in the main hospital building. All computers in the main building will be connected to each other with this network
Question 3:
Connection Main building’s INTRANET with three clinics’ local area networks. And finally, You should be connected to all computers (The hospital's main building and the clinics) to THE INTERNET as well
you need to answer these three questions according to them and also need to draw the diagram related to them.
