42yr man skin lesions on his scalp & upper/lower limbs. He noticed scaly patches on his elbows, which rapidly progressed in size & number over the past 2 months. Lesions are not painful. Pt has had stiffness & pain of the hand joints bilaterally for the last 2 weeks. Temp 37.1 Skin exam shows large, erythematous plaques covered by thick, adherent, silvery-white scales on the elbows, knees, sacrum, scalp. When the scales are removed, pinpoint areas of hemorrhage can be observed. Associated disease?
