SLOs include: Specialization expertise (content and competency), critical thinking, information literacy, and communication. Briefly define each of those objectives and assess how they might interact with or influence one other. Summarize a development plan you might use for yourself to enhance your skill for each objective. How might mastery of the objectives enhance your career path?
What I have so far
South University’s Student Learning Outcomes are specific objectives (SOLs) set to ensure each student is successful in their area of study no matter their background, personality, or beliefs. When thinking of objectives most tend to think of goals. Although they both coincide with one another objectives are tangible and focused on the induvial: whereas goals are vague and created based on a person’s vision. A goal is an achievable outcome that is generally broad and long-term while an objective defines measurable actions to achieve the overall goal (Asana, 2021). The four objectives (SOLs) South University has established for its students are Specialization expertise (content and competency), critical thinking, information literacy, and communication.
Critical thinking is a skill that gives one the ability to rationally make decisions. If you were to ask people from different backgrounds to define critical thinking the responses would be different.
