In class, we discussed the importance of preparing a service blueprint for your business. Using any software that you are comfortable with (MS Word, Visio, Powerpoint), prepare a Service Blueprint for a service that you would like to set up as your own business, i.e, think of yourself as the entrepreneur. Show the Line of Visibility, Line of Interaction, Line of Internal Interaction, and possible Fail Points. Please follow the format of the blueprint provided to you in the Service Design Lecture. (i) Clearly explain in one short paragraph the business you would like to set up. (ii) Explain the blueprint in your own words so as to provide the reader with a clear understanding of how your business would function. This explanation should be no more than half a page (single spaced) in length. (i) Create a Strategic Service Vision for your business. Make sure to include all four aspects: Target Market Segments, Service Concept, Operating Strategy, and Service Delivery System. Please follow the format of the Strategic Service Vision example provided to you in the Service Strategy Lecture. (ii) Conduct SWOT Analysis. Make sure to examine all four components: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats facing your business. Please follow the format of the SWOT Analysis example provided to you in the Service Strategy Lecture.
